Um, my thumb needs a rest

I love Kingdom Hearts II, but I need a break. My thumb hurts. I've been mashing X over and over and over and over and over and over and....you get the idea. All of the effort for this game was spent on the story; and that's not a bad thing. The production values on this game are very high. It's quite possible that Kingdom Hearts II is the most pleasant game I've ever played. Every aspect of the game is fine tuned to make the player's experience enjoyable, except (EXCEPT!) the combat.

Maybe the idea was to keep the combat simple for the kiddies. But it feels like I might be able to beat this game with an Atari 2600 joystick.

I'll repeat this because I think it bears repeating; I love Kingdom Hearts II. I've already put 30 hours into it. But, my thumb hurts. Literally. I'm not joking. I need a break.

I'll be back, KH2. I'll miss you!

Not classic, just old

I don't like Mech anime. I don't like goofy, over-the-top costumes on badly proportioned 3D character models. I don't like being hit-on by men, especially not emo losers. Have I mentioned that I don't like Mech games?

I don't like Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht. I don't even like the title.

After 10+ hours I'd say I've given the game a fair chance. It didn't get better; it didn't get worse. It just stayed the same. There's nothing interesting in the battle system. There's nothing too interesting about the plot either. You can keep adding all the uninteresting characters you want, but it's still going to be, well, uninsteresting!

...the music is good...there's that. But I could just buy the CD and listen in my car. That sounds better than playing this game.
